The episode opens with Salman Khan having a conversation with Bigg Boss, asking if the game will start late today. Bigg Boss replies no, explaining that this time the housemates themselves will be in charge, as it’s their rules that will govern the house. The theme this season is “democracy.”

Bigg Boss urges Salman to start the season without delay. Salman praises Bigg Boss’s generosity, saying the show could be called “Big Dil” (big heart), since the housemates get to stay rent-free for months with all amenities like meals, gym, and pool included. He marvels at the idea that if all landlords were like Bigg Boss, life would be easier.

Salman then asks Bigg Boss to explain the new concept of the housemates’ rule, which Bigg Boss says involves changing the traditional way the game is played.

Salman steps onto the stage to officially kick off the season.

He introduces the first contestant, Ashnoor Kaur, recalling how she was a little girl when they last met, and asks if she plans to be the first to leave or the last to win. Ashnoor confidently says she wants to be the first young winner ever. Bigg Boss welcomes her into the house, and she excitedly explores it.

Next, Salman introduces Zeishan Quadri, followed by Tanya Mittal. Tanya jokes that everyone should pause their work to watch her. Salman shares that Zeishan was involved with the film Gangs of Wasseypur and asks Tanya if she’s seen it. She admits she hasn’t and says she prefers films like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Tanya asks Salman a question about whether true love always remains incomplete.

Salman then engages Zeishan and Tanya in a fun task on stage.

The fourth and fifth contestants, Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, are introduced. Salman comments on their huge fan followings, noting that more than a crore viewers will be tuning in, and their fanbases will definitely be busy supporting them.

Salman then talks about Mridul Tiwari and Shehbaz Badesha and builds excitement about which contestant got the most votes from fans.

He welcomes the sixth contestant, Nehal Chudasama, who describes herself as a politically savvy and outspoken beauty queen, unafraid to speak her mind on social media or elsewhere.

Next, the seventh and eighth contestants, Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj, enter.

Salman introduces the ninth contender, Gaurav Khanna, who is affectionately known by fans as the “Green Flag.” Gaurav shares how his characters and upbringing taught him to always stand up for what is right. Salman jokes about the trouble Gaurav causes for girls, whether married or single, because of his charm. Gaurav calls Salman “evergreen,” and they perform a playful “Green Flag and Red Flag” task, including a color-blindness test.

The tenth contestant, Natalia Janoszek, is welcomed, and she mentions she knows some Hindi. After entering, she and Gaurav interact with the other contestants.

Meanwhile, Awez and Nagma discuss Nehal and begin planning their game strategy.

Gaurav questions Tanya about the bedroom area, which she explains is still locked and has an unusual setup with 15 beds but only 3 walls, promising more details will come later.

Salman then calls in the eleventh contestant, stand-up comedian Pranit More.

The twelfth contestant, social activist Farhana Bhat, is introduced next. Salman asks if she’s here for activism, and Farhana responds she will assess the situation as it unfolds and describes herself as straightforward.

Pawan Singh introduces the thirteenth contestant, Neelam Giri.

Salman chats with Farhana, Pranit, and Neelam. He asks Neelam about her online popularity, to which she replies she gets millions of views. Salman remarks on the diversity this season, highlighting a peace activist from Jammu and Kashmir and a performer from Bhuj.

Salman announces that Mridul Tiwari has won the fan vote against Shehbaz Badesha.

The sixteenth contestant, musician Amaal Mallik, is introduced next. Salman says he was surprised Amaal joined, considering his thriving career and success with hit songs.

He admits feeling unprepared for life outside music, which motivated him to enter Bigg Boss. He describes himself as funny and single and talks briefly about dealing with depression.

Pranit and Tanya discuss their controversy.

Amaal tells Ashnoor he wouldn’t mind helping with cleaning duties.

Mridul expresses his liking for Awez, and Mridul and Natalia start bonding.
